I mounted the rudder. I had previously mounted the rudder to the fin and adjusted the bearing lengths. I have a pretty tight fit of the rudder to the fin.
The rudder stop doesn't seem to work properly. You can see in the photo it just doesn't look right. I think this stop's dimensions are dependent on the distance the rudder is out from the fin. Since mine is in pretty close the stop needs adjusting.
I re mounted the elevators to properly adjust this rudder stop. The rudder swings about 35 degrees both directions but the measurement is 1 1/8 distance from the edge of the elevators. I can see why. There is sufficient play in the rudder that even with a stop you could swing it into the elevator if you really tried.
