I decided to do the firewall and fwd bottom skin. So I started by doing the stiffeners, aux longeron along th side skin to up within about 5 holes of the firewall. I can still get sealant in here.
I applied sealant to the firewall sides and clecoed. But then before putting the bottom skin on I finished the last 5 holes on the bottom longeron and 719 stiffener. It is a lot easier with bottom skin off. It only took a few minutes.
Then I applied firewall sealant to the bottom of the firewall and put on the bottom skin and clecoed it all together.
I have to admit I did put some rivets in the firewall flange, but then talking to my brother on the phone realized I didn't want to do this now because later hinges or something goes in here for attaching the fiberglass engine cowls. So I removed some of the rivets that shouldn't go in now and finished the rivets that can go in now which are just a few along the side curve and a few in the bottom center.
Now I need bucking help to finish this up side down fuselage.
