Brief Description:  Fwd Fuselage - Dissmble & Prep 40 ELT Bracket

I've got these things on my mind to do before I start riveting the lower fuselage back together:
1) rivet outboard seat ribs to bottom skin & bulkhead
2) mount ELT bracket
3) mount Dynon pitch servo bracket
4) rivet the arm rests
5) mount the fuel pump doubler to firewall with passthru eyeball

So I'm waiting for some parts to arrive. Dynon has a 3 week backlog. shshshsh. Today I received the ELT bracket from Van's so I'll mount it. Access to the aft fuselage is easy now without the mid-fuselage in the way.

The kit is complete with bracket, nutplates, and rivets. After drilling, deburring, dimpling, priming, and painting you pop rivet it in place. You have to put the first pop rivets from the inside (photo 2). I had to use small washers on tip of rivet gun to extend point into z-stringer space. Instead of just he four nutplates provide, I installed 8. Might need them by the time I get an ELT.
