I used a little silicone on the flange when I riveted it. Just seems like sealing the space between the static port flange and the side skin is a good idea. As usual I drilled it, deburred, countersunk and dimpled, cleaned and primed and finally riveted. I was able to squeeze three of the rivets. The fourth I had to buck. I put tape on the holes so they stay clean until use.
