I found what looks like an error on the drawings and in the parts. Since I'm finishing the side skin I read the drawing and saw that I need to enlarge the pilot hole for the pitot tube to 5/8. This shows on the rivet drawing #28. So I did. And the note says enlarge both skin and underlying outboard seat rib.
But the seat rib already had its tooling hole enlarge to 5/8 for the pitot tube back when I was working on the mid-fuselage. And as you can see from the drawings, these should be the same hole. But they are in two different locations. Good thing they don't overlap. I think I can use it like this. But the forward hole called on on drawing #22 is a hole to no-where.
********************** ADVICE *********************** Don't enlarge the tooling hole as shown in photo 2 below and on drawing #22. Instead just wait and enlarge both using the skin pilot hole as the guide and location. I added this warning to my earlier construction log page on June 13, 2009.
