I roughed up the inside surface, cleaned and primed.
Then I also thought about these little parts that hold the tank bracket. The skin is dimpled on the thre #40 holes. So I dimpled the thin spacer to receive the skin dimples. And I countersunk the thick spacer to receive the dimples of the thin spacer. I clecoed them all together and they fit flush.
