Brief Description: Mid-Aft Body Join - Trim Canopy Deck 1
Plan says to drill the arm rest to side skin. And I confused the canopy deck for the arm rest and so I proceeded to finish the canopy deck.
I previously drilled the canopy to the longerons. At this point I trimmed the aft end of the canopy deck per drawing for a tip up canopy. To cut the slot I clamped a piece of wood to the canopy deck so I could slide it thru the band saw. This worked great because the wood stabalizes the aluminum and band saw blade.
I had to use files to enlarge the slot to 3/32 and smooth all the edges.
