Brief Description:  Mid-Aft Body Join - Notch the Longerons

Before joining the mid and aft fuselages you have to clamp on the longerons. First thing to do is cut the notch for the vertical bars that hold the empennage on. I put the longerons in place and marked the notch with a pen. I drilled the 3/16 hole to give the notch a radius and cut the notch with the hack saw. It went well.

Except when I put the longerons on they didn't come all the way back (aft) to line up with the flange of the last bulkhead. So I had to widen the notch about 1/16 to allow the longerons to move back and line up in perfect position.
