I was going to skip having a crotch strap, but most pilots, including my brother tell me I gotta have it. I thought I had to order the kit, but it is a standard part for the RV-7. So first I collected all the parts and studied the drawing. I removed the four ribs from the mid-fuselage assembly. I found some 1/8 stock to use as a spacer.
