Longerons are now 173 7/16 inches long. I oriented them in flying position and marked them so I don't get confused.
I noticed some builders don't trust the little clasp at the end of their tape measures but I do. The clamp the tape measure starting at inch 1 or 2. From wood working I've learned that little thing pushes and pulls to compensate for its width for when you measure by pulling or pushing. Its little slot is darn accurate. No need to start at inch 2.
