Brief Description: F-707, 708 Bulkheads - Hole Drilling Test
I enlarge these holes by simply holding the part in one hand and drilling it with a step drill in my other hand. I don't clamp. I don't use the drill press. I just drill. My brother challenged me to draw a big cross and see if the hole is centered where it is suppose to be after enlarging in this manner. There is potential for the drill to creep or walk sideways as it enlarges the hole. So here you go. See photos below.
Problem is I can't tell if it moved on not. Still looks fairly close to specified spot.
