Brief Description:  F-705 Bulkhead - Drill Actuator Bearing Blocks

I'm almost ready to debur and prime all the parts, but first I gotta drill the holes for the actuator bearing blocks. I marked the hole locations per dimensions on the plan, but then clamped them in position and drilled using the bulkhead as a guide. You can't really clamp these very well because they are slippery. I only started the hole in place on the bulkhead and then moved them to the drill press because I hoped I could drill straighter. I used a #10 bit per plan. The drill press helped make the drilling go straight. I ran the bit up and down a few times to open up the hole enough for the bolt to go thru.

Next I'll debur and prime for riveting. This seems to be the process now for the fuselage. The plans do not walk you thru every step. They say, make bla bla assembly and it is up to me (you) to read the drawing, fab parts as necessary, read all the notes, figure out what hole sizes to use, which holes are flush or not, etc etc. So reading the drawings and knowing what is on there is very important BEFORE you start making chips.
