So remember that F-601J angle bracket that I originally started to make? Well it's time to finally drill the holes. I clamped it in place. Notice a #41 drill under it, because the drawing says it should have a 3/32 space between the bottom of the angle and the stiffener. Also this puts the top of the angle flush with the other plates going under it.
I positioned the clamp so that the holes are open to drill thru from the forward side. I drilled first with a #40 then enlarged with a #30 drill bit.
