I discovered my bandsaw had lost a guide block and the others were out of alignment. I took the whole thing apart cleaned it and made some changes. My blade rollers were stiff. I soaked them in laquer thinner and that freed them up nicely. My saw vibrates so I looked on the web and found three fixes for that:
1) balance the wheels with little washers. I only needed one. 2) stiffen the table with a piece of MDF or plywood. 3) change the belt to a segmented belt.
I ordered the segmented belt and new cool graphite guide blocks.
I also changed the blade and now it runs smooth with no vibrations and cuts straight and true. Ten times better.
