Brief Description: Main Skins - Clinched Rivet Issue in ribs
I decided I have a few clinched rivets in the ribs also. I decided I would drill out only the worse ones and then see how they look. If I feel more need to be replaced I'll do it in waves. So I made this little chart which is a map of every rivet. I marked which ones need to be replaced. I numbered all the ribs and holes so things are easily recognized. My first pass removed about 60 rivets from each wing for a total of about 120 rivets. I'll put these back in using the flush set and forward rivet process with bucking bar that gives me a better result.
Each bad rivet is marked with a line. Then the new rivet won't have the line showing it was replaced. So if I do a second or third wave of replacements I won't accidentally drill out a good one.
