Time to assemble the ailerons. After thoroughly deburring and dimpling, I primed all the parts with extra primer on the counter weight pipe and nose skin because I hope to keep the dis-similar metals separated. I'm not sure if pirmer is enough to do that. I guess I'm trusting Van's engineers that this galvanized pipe and the aluminum skin can co-exist without any anamolous behavior. Then I riveted the pipe to the nose ribs per plan with the pulled rivets.
