Finished riveting the horizontal row of rivets on the top skins. We also did a few drill outs and re-revit, plus re-hit a few rivets. The main top skins are done. Some rivets are good. Some here and there are clinched over or tilted. I used one oops rivet, successfully. I'll have to re-examine these rivets later but I think the ones in the main spar flange need to be drilled out and redon.
WARNING UPDATE from February.
DON"T BACK RIVET THE HORIZONTAL ROW OF RIVETS THAT HOLD THE MAIN SKIN TO THE MAIN SPAR FLANGE.
I ended up having to drill out all the rivets along this row because they were cinched. See me log Feb 13, 2008.
Turn the wing over in the cradle and forward rivet them with a bucking bar.
