Next I assembled and attached the Aileron Gap Fairing. I clecoed, match drilled, deburred holes and edges, dimpled, primed and riveted per plan. No issues. I did put the flap brace in place and match drilled it to, I guess I'll install it also, even though I don't plan to install the bottom skins right away.
One thing I put extra effort into was dimpling the skin with my DRDT instead of the squeezer. You can see my dimpler and bench are about the same height and I was able to dimple the skin this way. It makes better dimples and flush rivets then if I just squeeze dimples. My brother Ed's website said, "if he could do it again he would have done this," so I did.
The second wing I laid on the floor and brought the DRDT to it.
I squeezed all the rivets. They are very accessible.
