Brief Description: Leading Edge - Riveting Left LE to Spar 1
After a lot of fiddling around with shims on the leading edge to make the skin to skin match with the thank pretty good, I attached the left Leading Edge to the spar. I used Cherry Max pulled rivets instead of hammering away with solid rivets. Advice from other builders is you probably won't get it done with solid rivets due to 2 things. The inner ribs are inaccessible and you can't see to hold the bucking bar, plus 2) the rivets are too close to the main ribs to get the rivet gun universal head set on the rivets. So I ground down my pulled rivet gun and pulled these. They are hard to pull. Supposedly these Cherrymax rivets are as strong as solid rivets.
