Brief Description: Main Skins - Final Prep of frame for skins
I did the last few things to the wing frame today in preparation for attaching the Leading Edge, Tank and skins. I anodized the countersink holes in the main spar. I re-primed the rib flanges and rear spar where I cleaned out the dimples with the countersink tool a little. And I installed a few rivets that hold the ribs to main spar in holes under the tank skins. These aren't really shown on the drawing or plan, but the holes are there and everybody else puts rivets in these holes. There are 16 of these rivets per wing.
The frames are now ready to mount the LE, Tanks. So that is next. Then I'll come back to main skins to do the scarf joint, roll the edges, dimple and rivet on.
