Brief Description:  Leading Edge - Landing Light 9 install

I added 36 inches of 16 gauge wire. Red is positive. Black is ground. I left the white wire that came attached to the light, in place, and did a butt splice with a marine connector that has built in shrink wrap. I plan to use more Marine electrical terminals and connectors because they use soft metal for vibration resistance and are made for corrosion resistance. Both requirements match airplane requirements. They aren't that much cheaper, but I can buy them locally as needed. I installed the reflector per plan. I put the moisture foam strip on the edge of the lens rather than inside the wing because it was easier to reach, and it seemed like I would rip it off the airplane when inserting the lens. Moisture might enter through the bolt holes, but it would regardless of where the moisture strip is located.
