Brief Description:  Leading Edge - Countersink Main Spar Flange

While I wait for Van's to ship me two new ribs, I countersunk all the holes on the main spar flange. I use an electic drill for this because the slow speed does not chatter. I used a dimple as a guage for depth of the countersink, but this is not a good gauge. I remember reading now this causes over sunk countersinks because the dimple doesn't fit in the countersink until it is rivetted. My countersinks are a little past flush (see photo). I measured and I am 10 teeth on the countsink tool past flush. I hope this isn't too much. My countersinks for the platenutes were too shallow and I don't want to do that again.
