Brief Description: Tank Prep - Z-Brackets Preparation 2
I enlarged the 3/8 holes to a #8 drill size because I was getting a lot of binding between the bolt and the Z-bracket when screwing in the bolt to the platenut. The nutplate has to be centered over the hole and if not a lot of friction is created. I used both a 3/32 cleco and the bolt to hold the platenut in place while riveting. Two of the Z-brackets don't get platenuts because the platenuts for them go on the front Spar web.
