Brief Description:  Finishing Wings: Pitot Tube 8

Next I started on the wire runs. I decided to use #14 gauge wire. I probably could use #16 for up to 9 foot run, but this is about 10 feet or more depending what happens to the routing once inside the fuselage. Dynon says 22 gauge is enough for the white wire since I intend to plut it into the Skyview rather than a dash light. But the wire it came with is 18 gauge, so I used 18gauge to extend the white wire.

The red wire is power. I shortened it so the splice to the 14 gauge will happen at the last end outside the wiring duct.

I made a hole in the wire duct and inserted a rubber grommet for the wires to run thru as they enter the wire duct.

I put a uninsolated ring terminal on the black ground wire.
