My band saw started cutting not straight. I decided to take a day and fix it up. I took it all apart. 1) The rollers were gummed up and Laquer cleaner fixed them. 2) The blade control blocks were loose and one was missing, so I replaced them with new "cool blocks" which are resin blocks. 3) The whole thing vibrates so I balanced the wheels. Only the lower one needed a small washer taped accross from a heavy side. 4) I replaced the belt with a red segmented belt which is more flexible. 5) And I put a piece of plywood on top of the stand to stiffen between the motor and saw. 6) I also put on a new blade from Timber Wolfe Blades.
Now it runs smooth and cuts straight. I even got a mitre guide for it so I can do cutoffs straight and accurately.
