I finally contacted Vans about my auto trim for aileron. My autopilot (AP) will auto trim. In pitch it does a great job of relieving pressure off the stick during use of autopilot. But the aileron auto trim moves the trim to left more and more. When I release AP the plane is not trimmed and rolls left. So Auto trim is moving to far. I tried moving auto trim all the way left and flew to see if it would trim back to the right. It did not. I tried manually moving trim all the way to right to see what it would do. It slowly moved trim all the way back left again. I tried recalibrating the auto trim. At first this seemed to help but within 10 minutes of flying on AP it auto trimmed to left again.
Vans sent me a new AP control head. I installed it tonight and will test for the next couple of days. I hope it is fixed. I hate to have to swap out a servo. Or worse I hate to think I miss installed a wire someplace. Yikes. More in this later.
