I had the occassion to fly in the rain today and had a leak that dripped on my ankles and got water drops in the wingtip lights. The leak may have been just the run off from the canopy when I tipped it up. It may also have been leaking around the front edge of the canopy. I won't know without further tries.
For the wing tip lights I bought some double backed tape and put it around the edge of the lens. This looks like it has sealed up the edge. I won't know till I try rain again.
In photo three you can see the tape looks stuck to the lens without making it look ugly.
