Brief Description:  Control Surfaces Range of Motion-Elevator

I'm waiting for transition training with Michael Seiger. It is scheduled for February 27-28. So I've been watching YOUTUBE videos of transition training. I noticed for landing flair and taxi the stick is full back. So that got me wondering how much up deflection my elevator has. Plans say up should be 25 - 30 degrees. And down deflection should be 20-25 degrees.

I went and measured (again) this morning. I'm getting 30 degrees up and 22 degrees down. Recall the stop for up is the brace that you remove material from. So lowering that range would mean adding material back onto the brace. These measurements are within range. Having full up elevator sounds like a good idea from watching transition training.
