It has been on my mind to check fuel lines and do a fuel flow test with the nose up. Also I tested flow thru to integrator, not just to firewall. This flows thru the engine driven pump but with that bump off.
I examined the fuel lines and noticed one dripping. It was loose. So I retightened all the line connections and repainted a stripe with latex. I think I was not tightening the nuts enough. I did about a quarter turn after contact. You can feal the connection squeeze together.
I lifted the nose up with my hoist. Main gear are on the ground so the weight being lifted is less than a hundred pounds. I raised the noise until the tail hit. That's as high as I can go. I don't have a place to do better than this. But it would definitely be in a climb configuration.
Test from both tanks. 48 ounces per 30 seconds. Thats about 45GPH. Plenty of fuel flow. Raising the nose didn't phase the fuel flow. That pumps really pumps it out. I also checked the vent lines. The seem fine. I might blow them out one more time.
Next and final test before first flight is the full power 5 second run up. I have to have the cowls on for that.
