I installed the fire extinguisher today. I put it on the back of the flap housing. Might be a little difficlut to reach from sitting in pilot seat, but do-able. Wife says she can grab it fine. I made three holes and filled them with riv-nuts. Used a #6 screws. Now that I know how to use riv-nuts I'm going to use them. Otherwise I would have removed all the screws to take out this brace and put plate nuts on it. Riv-nuts are so much easier. Riv-nuts are for NON-STRUCTURAL things like interiors, covers even fairings. But they are not a replacements for rivets or screws.
