Brief Description:  Canopy Final Fit 1

This is suppose to be the final fit for the canopy. Should be perfect. Nope. First the front skin of the canopy still clipped on the forward to skin and did a little damage. So I fixed the canopy skin and then filled the forward top skin down to a taper towards its aft end so it doesn't have a corner to catch. Plus I sanded under the canopy skin a bit to remove a little material. I finally got that spot fixed.

But I hear a click upon opening. It is the aft flange of the subpanel hitting the forward bar of the canopy frame. I sanded back the flange and it helped. I need to sand a little more.

Then I looked at the 1/8 air gap all around. Turns out later you'll see after the weather stripping is installed it seems to fit fine and snug.

And notice the clearance between the panel top and the bar on the canopy has good clearance. I was a little worried about that space too.
