I'm trying to figure out the last few things to do to get to day one flying. I called the DAR Charlie that most of our EAA chapter has used. He said he is not available until December but would be happy to help me finish then. That might work. He is highly recommended by our EAA chapter. He also said, I should go ahead and finish everything on the airplane. He only needs basic panesl removed for inspection. He mentioned the wing panels; The Tail Fairing; The cowl and the rear bulkhead. So I will build and finish every part and then do weight and balance.
Then I called an instructor, Mike. He said he is booked until January. Yikes. I was ready to fly this within a couple months. I guess it will be January.
