Brief Description:  Fuel Level Calibration 1

I went on-line and ready about fuel flow calibration. I'm using capacitance plates and the Van's Capacitance to Voltage Converter. Here are all the things I learned.

1. Ignore the error message. The calibration is working. 0.02 Voltage change is sufficient for the calibration and fuel level indicators to work. There is just something about SkyView that doesn't recogize that small of a change.

2. There is some un-useable fuel. So when I empted the tanks from the fuel flow test, I emptied them until the pump was pumping air and called that empty. In reality there is 1/2 - 1 gallon of un-useable fuel in each tank at the start of this calibration. But this is good. Because the definition of empty is no more fuel can get to the engine.

I bought a big funnel to catch fuel so i wouldn't make a mess. It also has a fuel screen in it. I also used painters screens to filter fuel when I poured it between canisters.
