Brief Description:  Attaching Wings to Fuselage 2

Jody helped me put the right wing on a couple saw horses. They were just the right height. Then she watched the spar line up and told me which way to move the wing tip. When it was lined up in went in about 1/4 easily. Then with just a little wiggling it went in all the way. So far no problem.

Then I inserted the two big bullet bolts on top. The top holes are accessible from both directions so they can be easily removed by pushing a rod in the hole in the opposite direction. With these two in I still could not get a small close tollerence bolt in. I tried all the tricks.

Finally the trick is wiggle it. Jody came back to the hangar and slowly wiggled the wing tip around while I tapped on one of the smaller closer tolerence bolts it went it. In fact it went in pretty smoothly with just little taps. Then the other one went in. Then the two big ones. Seems like once the holes are perfectly lined up the bolts go in fairly smoothly and with just slight tapping. Great not to painful. Freezing is a bust. All it did was condense water on the outside of the bolt. I don't think the cold temperature helped much at hole.
