I thought about making a window in my rear access plates that cover the bolt that connects the push rod to the elevator. The purpose of the window would be so I can look in during a normal walk around. But I decided against it, because there are other places with just nylocks that put this whole system at risk that I can't see unless I remove the bulkhead which won't be happening every time I fly. So I trust the designers that these bolts will do just fine with nylocks.
