The first wires that seem simple to connect to the ECM are the EGT/CHT wires. So I cut wires to length and connected them. I used the blade connectors that came with the ECM. They seem okay. I put some electrical grease on them to facilitate taking them apart and back together because I had to do that several times before I had all the routings the way I wanted them.
Then I wanted some way to protect the connectors. I found these fire proof glass wraps for spark plugs at O'Reily's Auto. They worked. The ones from Spruce were too small in diameter for the large blade connectors. I didn't use my barrel screw connectors that I previously bought. I have a lot of extra parts.
