Brief Description: Baffles 21 Snorkle Inlet Version 2a
I was not happy with the way the lower baffle didn't reach to the outboard edge. And I didn't like the overlay I made. So I ordered a new lower baffle and redid this part of the horizontal induction.
Photo 1 you can see the original lower baffle and the new one. I will trim this new one less. Photo 2 you can see there is just barely enough of the new baffle to reach the outboard most edge of the snorkle inlet. But this is okay and sufficient space to rivet and add platenuts for the final hold down trim piece. Photo 3 shows the new cut baffle with material around the whole circumference of the inlet hole. Later I ended up trimming off the forward edge to clear the fiberglass cowl.
