Next I decided to add the prop govenor. It is on the rear of the engine and there won't be much room to mess with it once the engine is installed on the airframe.
Couple things: The clocking of the lever was not in the right place so I had to: 1. Cut the safety wire 2. Loosen, NOT remove the screws and 3. Turn the center section and the lever turns to where you want it.
And then there was no way to put the connecting bolt in as shown on the drawing. So with some research and an email to vans, I decided to slide the lever out, put in the bolt and put the lever back. 1. So I cut that safety wire. 2. Removed the bolt. Yes just loosening it won't release the lever 3. Pulled the lever out a little. Not much. Just enough to get the bolt in. 4. I included the bearing. Now when I install the cable I will have to turn it into the bearing. That is going to be a bitch.
