Brief Description:
Engine Preparation 11 - Install Mount & Gears
Next I realized I can't hang the engine unless the engine mount is on and the fuselage is on its gear. So I did that. Took some time. Used a car jack.
I ended up putting three washers on each engine mount bolt to make the cotter pins fit correctly with the castlye nuts.
I bolted on the gear and torgued them.
AN3 - 25 in-lbs
AN5 - 100 in-lbs
AN6 - 160 in-lbs
Then I also put the stainless plug into the hole for the nose gear and sealed it with sealant.
I am not planning on removing any of these parts again. We will see if that holds.
Mount on for good
Gear on for good
