Next you add the fittings to the Van's part that is used for getting Oil Pressure and Fuel Pressure. Plans say to use high temperature silicon, not tape. So I bought Loctite 567. Found this was popular on Van's Forum and Aircraft Spruce. Also, local A&P advised to use it. So I did. I'll also use Loctite 567 on the fittings that go into the engine.
