Finally to paint the bottom. I taped off the whole top area using some plastic. That's why you can see the white thru it. I cleaned it of course. Oh, I also hand sand the primer with #400 #600 or #800. I use whatever I have fresh. Makes the primer smoother.

I'm not telling about the blotchy primer spots that spent a lot of time sanding and respraying. That wasn't per plan, but !@$% happens.

The blue metalic sprays pretty well. Doesn't seem to run as much as the white. You are not suppose to polish metalic, so that is why I do it last. If blue gets on the white I can polish the white. But not vica versa.

To date I have 5 gallons of paint used. It is not all on the airplane because a lot of it hit the floor or went up the ventilator.
