Next thing to paint are the wing tips. They will be all blue. So this will be easy paint job then a three-color part.
But these are fiber glass and required some repair and smoothing. I noticed the trailing edge had a crack. I fixed the crack with fiber glass and polyester resin.
The surface had tiny pin holes I fixed with Evercoat Polyester Glazing Putty. Works well. I read a lot of other people's logs about having trouble filling the pin holes. Just use an automotive glaze. They work great. Glaze is very fine for small holes and smooth finish. Car guys are a lot pickier than airplane painters.
