I wanted to use single stage urethane paint like JetGlo. I took Sherwin Williams painting class this past July in Wichita at their Aviation Center. But turns out I couldn't easily match existing colors so I took my parts (before stripping) to the auto parts paint stare and bought car paint. It is still single stage urethane and from the specs it looks as good as aircraft paint. Paint is by Limco. Some reducers by Nason.
My neighbor heard me talking about painting and said, "hey do you need a paint booth? I've got one empty right now, in between tenants if you'd like to use it." I said yes, thank you.
It is a boat paint booth more than 50 feet long with side draw and heat. Amazing booth. I'm using just the far end of it.
