There were some pools of resin build up inside the pant some previous repairman had added to fix cracks, but there was no cloth so the resin didn't do much to fix the crack. I had to use a cutting wheel to remove the resin pools.
The fastener wholes were all distorted, cracked, oversized holes, varying depths, and basically stupid. I sanded and added material as necessary to get them all fixed like original.
Then I had to remove all the old paint and primer.
