Brief Description:  Wire Routing Forward Cabin 1

I pondered and reseach how to get wires from the wing spar to the upper electrical bay. I saw some other builders utilizing conduit made from the flexible plastic piping we used in the wings. Seems like a good idea.

So I ran two lengths of plastic pipe for electrical conduit up the center just outside of the recessed panel along ribs on the firewall. I put string in them to pull wires. I fastened down the piping using a stick on zip tie base 1" square. I had to remove a little damping material in primer from the skin to stck these down. But they work and with the cover over the top these hold down bases won't feel much force.

I pulled all the wires I have so far up thru these. I like it.

Sometimes I pull the string out. To get i back thru I tie a piece of paper towel to the end and put the shop vac on the other end, and suck it thru. Works great.
