I did hours of pondering on how to run the stick wiring. I did not want to drill a hole in the stick which would allowed minimal movement of the wire. I tried a bunch of routings but am showing only the final solution below.
The wire comes out of the bottom of the stick, makes a large loop and is fastened to the outboard rib. then it runs thru the access hole and forward thru the access holes in the wing spar. It works fine. The wire moves freely, but doesn't bind or offer any resistance. I did the same routing to the co-pilot side. Pilot has a 5 wire bundle for coolie hat trim switch and 2 wires for push to talk (PTT). The co-pilot has just PTT.
