I'm doing a lot of pondering about wire routing, connectors and securing wirings. But time to turn ponders into action. I'm starting aft and moving forward.
I decided every component needs to have a connector so if the components needs to be replaced there is a connector within close proximity.
So I cut the leads on the tail light to just a few inches and put on a connector. I'm using a 0.062 Molex connector. They don't have clips but they do have knobs that somewhat lock the two halves together. I hope these are okay. If not I can always put a zip tie around them later.
I got a three strand wire and put the female connector on it. I'm putting male connectors on all components and femaile on the receiving wire.
For trim tab I'm just using D-sub pins and will cover them with shrink tubig later when I install the servo. The servo wire is a 5 strand 24 gauge from Stein Air
I've started a spreadsheet of wires. This is 20 gauge. I'm labeling all the wires with white shrink wrap.
I will do a local ground on this light. Then three wires go forward. Power for strobe. Power for position. And synch wire for the strobes that synch with the wing tip lights.
