Brief Description:  Main Gear Leg Fairing 5

The next step is to figure out how to make the lef fairing in line with the fuselage centerline which is also suppose to be in line with the wind flow. After re-reading the instructions a bunch of times and pondering I figure it out.

I dropped plumb bobs under the centerline of the fuselage and drew a line and put down tape so the line was easy to see and not easily perturbed. This line is needed for lining up the main gear pants as well so make it good.

Then I took a piece of plywood and put hooks on it along a line that paralleled the gear leg. I did this using a couple squares to help locate the place the hooks should go. I placed the plywood square to the fuselage. I used a square to measure both top and bottom of the leg back to the board and put the hook right in the middle, which should now be in alignment with the center of the gear leg.
