Brief Description:  Wing Bottom Skins: Left Inboard 1

The structural build is winding down. Riveting on the bottom wing skins is about the last main structual thing to do. Once these are done, I'll have a hard time, not buying a motor. I wonder if I'll get these done before Oshkosh this year.

I decided to try and rivet on the bottom skins with the wings in the cradle rather than laying down on the bench or floor. It just seems like they are sturdier and more accessable in their cradles.

So I put on the inboard skin because instructions say to start with the inboard. I also put on the outboard skin to help hold correct position of the wing. Might not be necessary. But I put the outboard skin under the inboard for now so I can lift the inboard skin to rivet. Later I'll have to take the outboard skin off to finish the inboard skin.

I used a little roller with adjustable hieght to hold up the skin. I am able to reach in and rivet.

I've started. First few rivets went fine. It has been awhile since riveting so I had to get the feel back. Pressure on the gun, light pressure on the bar. 30 lbs of air pressure.
