It took awhile to get the right fit. I also added aluminum sheet as reflectors on the tips and also to look nice. I had to be sure the clear lens didn't hit on the aluminum so there were a lot of try and sand, try and sand getting the aluminum pieces to fit also.
Then I polished the aluminum with a polisher. It took a long time. I even bought a new polisher from Harbor Freight.
Finally I glued the aluminum in place using the Epoxy Resin I've been using. I considered using a couple screws and platenuts, but didn't. If the aluminum comes loose it won't move much because the lens holds it in place. And one piece is held on with the light screw.
